LAGO Americas Corp: LAGO takes another step for growth in the Americas

  LAGO, a leading company in the design and furnishing sector, announces the establishment of LAGO Americas Corp, a new company based in Miami and wholly owned by the parent company. The operation represents a strategic step in the company's international expansion policy and aims at strengthening LAGO's direct presence in the American continent, with a focus on the residential, contract and hospitality segments . The new company will have the task of overseeing and developing the Americas market through the creation of an autonomous operational and commercial structure, capable of adapting flexibly to local dynamics and growth opportunities in the various countries of the continent. To date, LAGO is present in the Americas with 27 points of sale, in which the company is represented with exclusive spaces dedicated to the collection: a selected network that constitutes a concrete base from which to launch a new phase of development. "With LAGO Americas Corp we aim to take a further step in our internationalisation path," says Gilberto Negrini, CEO of LAGO. "The direct presence will allow us not only to be closer to our professional interlocutors and end customers, but also to continue to fully enhance our design and service proposal, offering tailor-made solutions for the American market". A resident manager based in the US joined the company at the beginning of 2025 with a view to developing a consolidated structure, with the task of overseeing business development, coordination with local partners and management of planned openings. The first openings are already scheduled in the cities of Atlanta (USA), Panama City (Panama) and San Juan (Puerto Rico), selected for their strong design vocation, interest in European design and the presence of favourable economic ecosystems for contract development. Currently, the American market accounts for just over 5% of the company's total turnover. The short-term objective is to double this share, reaching 10%, and then aim for an even larger contribution in the medium to long term. LAGO's strategic objective is to increasingly favour a business balance between the Americas, Asia and Europe, with a view to international consolidation and balanced geographical diversification. The initiative is part of a multi-year expansion plan that envisages consolidating the network in the Americas and increasing the contribution of international markets to LAGO's overall turnover.
