LAGO presents new previews in anticipation of the Salone del Mobile 2026: the Air Roundy Bookshelf, the 36e8 Formae Kitchen and the 36e8 Cinema Wall Unit. With these three products, designed by Daniele Lago, the company marks a decisive return to its more design-oriented dimension, reaffirming the central role of design as a driver of innovation and identity.
"Design is not just form, it is a way of thinking about the world. With these projects we want to awaken the perception of space, unleash creativity and demonstrate that furniture can transform people's lives, not just environments. At LAGO, design is energy, vision and identity: our heart beats in the project itself,' says Daniele Lago, President and Head of Design.

Air Roundy Bookshelf
Twenty years ago Air was born, the bookshelf that redefined the concept of storage and display, introducing a language of structural lightness and transparency. A revolutionary system capable of subtracting visual weight and restoring lightness to space.
On the occasion of the Salone del Mobile and 20 years since the birth of Air, LAGO presents the Air Roundy bookshelf: a formal evolution that amplifies its iconic character through its curved line.
The structure remains true to its essence: shelves that seem to float, supported by glass, in a perfect balance of solids and voids. However, the design gesture changes.

Kitchen 36e8 Formae
The pure and essential volumes, which have always characterised LAGO kitchens, go beyond the traditional linear configuration to open up to islands with angled and dynamic shapes. The monoliths maintain their total formal cleanliness thanks to the absence of handles, the continuity of finish on the surfaces and veins that flow uninterruptedly between the fronts and the worktop. The geometric movement transforms the kitchen into a sculptural presence, but the strength of the sign remains intact. This is complemented by the theme of suspension, a distinctive feature of the LAGO language, which dialogues harmoniously with the monolithic character of the volumes, amplifying their visual lightness and refined balance.

36e8 Cinema Wall Unit
The idea stems from a change of perspective: the television becomes the fulcrum of the composition. Installed in front of the modular volumes, it dialogues with the geometries of the system and integrates into the architectural language of the furniture. The result is an equipped wall in which technology and design come together in an unprecedented formal balance. The module behind it houses an integrated lighting system that emphasises the scenic presence of the screen, amplifying its perceptive depth and enhancing the viewing experience. A distinctive element of the project is the integration with LAGO Invisible Sound, a high quality audio system that diffuses the sound of the television or music - connected to the smartphone - directly from the furniture, transforming the furniture into an acoustic device.
