LAGO brings design to the Kioene Arena

LAGO brings design to the Kioene Arena with a project that combines sport, territory and Paduan excellence. In fact, it has launched a collaboration with Pallavolo Padova for the creation of the new lounge and events area of the Kioene Arena, a symbolic space for the city and the home of volleyball.

The inauguration, scheduled for 21 December 2025, will present environments reinterpreted in a contemporary, versatile and welcoming key, destined for institutional meetings, hospitality moments, conferences and interviews. The lounge is furnished with pieces from LAGO's Air collection, characterised by a suspended and modular language that plays on the relationship between solids and voids thanks to the tempered glass supports, capable of conferring lightness and transparency. The kitchens dialogue with tables and seats through material continuities that create a harmonious and coherent whole, transforming the space into a luminous, dynamic and adaptable environment.

More than an aesthetic intervention, the project represents a dialogue between two realities that share common roots and the same vision of teamwork, putting people, emotions and community at the centre. "I believe that space is a playground where people meet, inspire and grow together. Design, like sport, is a choral act: it is based on collaboration, listening and the desire to improve every day. - says Daniele Lago, President and Head of Design at LAGO - I had the good fortune to play volleyball at a good level and, perhaps, it was from there that I learnt that true beauty comes from the rhythm of the whole, from the ability to build play and harmony. Bringing this energy today to a place like the Kioene Arena is, in a way, a return to the origins, but also a step forward for the area that unites us."

With this collaboration LAGO strengthens its bond with Padua and the Veneto region, a fertile territory of ideas and talent, confirming its commitment to promoting a culture of design as an engine of social and cultural connection. The lounge of the Kioene Arena thus becomes a new meeting space between design and sport, conceived to welcome guests, companies and fans in a context where every detail tells the value of excellence and collaboration.
