We are in the beating heart of Rome, where modern architecture overlooks millenary monuments. A unique viewpoint over the eternal city, where interior design is a lens on the urban landscape.
The city of Rome, with its history, is an open-air museum: a concentration of lines and geometries that reflect the different eras and influences that have shaped its architecture.Lucia has lived in Rome for ten years and was looking for a place where work and inspiration could coexist. Her passion for the history of art and the eternal city allowed her to give a very personal touch to the house, transforming it into a place where she could disconnect from the world.

How did you imagine your kitchen?
"For me, the kitchen is a space to be lived in every day, combining design and functionality. I am a big fan of Roman cuisine and at least once a week I prepare fresh pasta at home and then try my hand at local recipes."

The modularity and versatility of LAGO kitchens made it possible to design a solution tailored to Lucia's needs, creating a perfect dialogue with the architecture and materials of the space. Functionality and ergonomics were two key concepts that guided the design of the kitchen layout: a suspended glass island accommodates the gesture of cooking and becomes the heart of the living area.

Why did you choose LAGO furniture for your home?
"The house has a timeless simplicity, but I wanted to combine traditional elements that recall the city's history with contemporary design solutions. This mix of styles complements the overall aesthetic of the house. Every piece here has a story."
Living RoomModernity, comfort and design
Lightness and timeless elegance make LAGO furniture an ideal solution for furnishing projects that reflect the personality and needs of those who inhabit the space. Soft, cosy sofas, TV furniture with closed or open storage units, suspended bookcases: everything dialogues with the architecture of the city, creating original contrasts.

"I wanted the sleeping area to be a bright space: my dream was to be able to wake up glimpsing the city outside the large windows at the crack of dawn."
BedroomRefined material contrasts
The bedroom designed for Lucia combines two central elements of LAGO design: materials such as glass to create elegant plays of light and soft, enveloping shapes to welcome moments of relaxation. Every detail is designed to offer sensations of comfort and lightness that accompany rest.
