The architectural wardrobe where light, material and rhythm define the space

Aura transforms the wardrobe into an architectural element capable of defining the space: light and material interact harmoniously, creating depth and movement. The doors, some aligned parallel to the back panels and others projecting outward, create a rhythmic surface reminiscent of contemporary wall panelling. The absence of handles gives the front a clean, seamless appearance, thanks to an opening system integrated into an aluminium profile designed by LAGO, combining ergonomics and functionality. The profile also houses the LED lighting system and features a closing element that protects the doors and helps keep dust away from the interior. A system integrated into the structure automatically switches off the light when the door is opened. The new three-dimensional textured surfaces — from fluted textures and resin finishes to subtle grooves on metallic backgrounds — enhance the wardrobe’s architectural character and, together with lacquer finishes available in the 30 LAGO colours, offer exceptional design freedom. The modular configuration of the compartments allows different widths to be combined, creating compositions that are virtually made to measure.
A façade with a rhythmic pattern, like contemporary panelling
Aura transcends the traditional concept of a wardrobe and becomes an architectural feature capable of interacting with walls, volumes and light. The doors, arranged on different levels, transform the façade into a dynamic surface. This visual rhythm, enhanced by the three-dimensional textured surfaces – ribbed textures, resin finishes and subtle grooves on metallic backgrounds – evokes the elegance of contemporary panelling.
Light meets matter
The technical and design heart of Aura is encapsulated in a single aluminium profile, designed by LAGO, which incorporates the full-height handle, houses the LED lighting and includes an element that protects the doors. The lighting enhances the surface of the wardrobe, highlighting its texture, and, thanks to its automatic switch-off when the door is opened, creates a carefully calibrated visual effect.
Design versatility
Aura reimagines the wardrobe as a flexible system, capable of adapting to different spaces and layouts. The modular nature of the compartments and the wide range of options for combining widths, finishes and surfaces allow for the design of configurations tailored to the characteristics of the space: from the bedroom area to passageways, right through to more complex solutions that are fully integrated into the interior architecture.
