Baita Cà Latrones
Located in a privileged panoramic position in the Valmalenco, at an altitude of 1950 metres, Ca' Latrones is the luxury chalet that combines history, nature and exclusive comfort. This refined retreat allows you to immerse yourself in the unspoilt nature of the Alps, among forests, trails and spectacular views: the ideal place to regenerate and get back in touch with yourself. The project was born from the skilful recovery of an ancient Valtellina mountain hut dating back to 1873, carefully restored in a modern key using conservative techniques. Frescoes and original wooden beams find new life, integrating with contemporary furnishings and finishes. The three-storey building with a total area of around 100 m² comprises three double rooms, a living area with fireplace and a panoramic veranda overlooking Lake Palù. The atmosphere is that of an elegant and quiet refuge, immersed in nature and designed for the physical and mental well-being of guests.

Materials that tell the story
The choice of materials - such as wood and stone - followed a clear philosophy: to remain faithful to the territory while respecting tradition. The renovation in fact enhanced the original nature of the building, integrating it with innovative and avant-garde solutions. "The objective was to recover and reinterpret the local tradition with a contemporary look, restoring the building's authentic identity and transforming it into a place of well-being and silence," says engineer Francesca Vismara, who supervised the structural project.

Harmony between tradition and contemporary design
The interior was specifically chosen to create a contrast with the rustic materiality of the original building, with the aim of enhancing the authentic beauty of the structure, without overloading it with decorative elements, in a balance between Alpine tradition and contemporaneity.

Designer furniture for luxury chalets
Natural light emphasises the magical suspension of the chalet's furnishings, such as the modern sofa in the veranda and the suspended bed in the bedroom, while the combination of finishes and materials has been skilfully designed to create awarm and cosy atmosphere.
